Web Administrators provides support for the deployment and maintenance of web technology. Web Administrator designs, builds, and maintains websites, and provides web technology solutions, maintenance, and services. ANZSCO Code 313113 – Web Administrator or webmaster should have STSOL.

A Web Administrator assists with the implementation and management of computer infrastructure and web technologies, as well as the diagnosis and resolution of technical issues.
The majority of occupations in this unit group have a skill level that corresponds to their credentials and experience. The AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) is required in Australia, whereas the NZ Register Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) is required in New Zealand. At least three years of relevant experience may be substituted for the above-mentioned official credentials. In some cases, in addition to the official qualification, appropriate experience and/or on-the-job training may be necessary.
Web Administrators do the classification and maintenance of computer infrastructure and web-based technologies. Candidates for this position should be familiar with networking and networking management. Various operating systems, such as Linux Unix, are also required for system design and implementation.
