Like the RPL report submitted to the ACS Society, engineers with an interest in migrating to New Zealand need to submit the KA02 report to assess their knowledge to the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ). IPENZ is the organization of engineers in New Zealand that deals with a skills assessment of engineers.
The KA02 report is submitted by those applicants who do not have sufficient ICT qualifications or those from non-ICT fields. Applicants who do not have sufficient ICT content in their tertiary qualification and do not fulfill the IPENZ’s criteria are considered non-ICT professionals. KA02 form allows these professionals to show that their work experience has enriched them with the required knowledge and skills, enabling them to compete with the best engineers for similar jobs.
