1. Temporary Graduates

The candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in ICT and is closely related to your nominated occupation. Work experience is optional in the field.

2. Post-Australian Study Skills Assessment

A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in ICT and is closely related to her nominated occupation. Also, the candidate must have post-1-year working experience or have completed the ACS Professional Year Program.

3. General Skills Assessment

Candidates with tertiary ICT qualifications and employment can obtain a general skills assessment.

i. ICT Major

Candidates who have finished their bachelor’s degree or higher and the degree is closely related or relevant to the nominated occupation will require to show two-year relevant work experiences completed within the past ten years or four years of relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history to meet the criteria.

Candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree or higher and the degree is not closely related to the nominated occupation will require to show four years of relevant work experience that was completed anytime in their past work history to meet the criteria.

A candidate who has completed their diploma advanced or associate degree and is closely related to your nominated occupation will require five years of relevant work experience completed within the past ten years or six years of relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history to meet the criteria.

A candidate who has completed their diploma advanced or associate degree and is not closely related to your nominated occupation will require six years of relevant work experience finished in your past work history to meet the criteria. 

ii. ICT Minor

Candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree or higher and the degree is closely related to your nominated occupation will require five years of relevant work experience, which gets conducted in the past ten years, or six years of relevant work experience completed anytime in your past work history to meet the criteria of.

A candidate who has completed their bachelor’s degree or higher and is not closely related to your nominated occupation will require six years of relevant work experience completed anytime in your history to meet the criteria.

Recognition Prior Learning

Candidates with tertiary qualifications with insufficient or non-ICT degrees will require six years of relevant work experience, completed anytime in your work history, and the best quality RPL application to meet the criteria.

Candidates who do not hold recognized tertiary qualifications will require eight years of work experience and the best quality RPL application to meet the criteria.

Document Checklist For ACS Skills Assessment

1. Personal Documents

a. Passport or Birth Certificates

ACS skills assessment applicants need to submit their color scans to ACS. You must provide the identification page of your passport containing your name, address, and other required information.

b. Evidence of Name Change Document

If you have recently changed your name, sending a clear color scan of the document is preferable.

c. Curriculum Vitae/ Resume

According to ACS rules, you must submit your curriculum vitae in the private part of your application form.

2. Qualification Documents

a. Academic Qualification

You must provide a clear color scan of your academic transcript and an award certificate or completion record for your Australian Qualification. If you have added a master’s Qualification, you must also submit a bachelor’s Qualification. You have to provide the following details in your qualification documents.

  • Title/ Degree in Education.
  • The name of the University where the degree got awarded.
  • The completion date of the college degree.
  • List course details and mark/grade earned for each unit or subject.

b. Vendor Qualification

Applicants must provide the vendor login details to qualify as a Microsoft Vendor for authentication purposes. After successfully submitting the form, you will get asked to apply your login credential for the Cisco Provider Certification. This information can get attached as a file.

c. Experience Documents

Applicants must submit a color scan of their job references on business letterhead or statutory declaration.

  1. Work Experience Document Requirements
  • Applicants’ work experience must mention the employment start date and finish date. If you are currently working there, it can get written as the end date.

3. Third-Party Statutory Declaration Requirements

Third-Party colleagues at an executive level provide a statutory declaration. It should state that the document gets observed before an authorized person, including the date and place of the statement.

All Statutory Declarations or Affidavits must clearly state that the document was “Sworn Before,” or “Signed Before” or “Witnessed Before” by the authorized witness by the referee and signed by the approved witness, along with the date and place in which the declaration get witnessed.

The Statutory Declaration or Affidavit must be written by a third-party work colleague at a managerial or supervisory level and NOT written by you, the applicant.

the applicant:

• Employment certificate/statement of service

• Leaving certificate is no longer working at the same company

Things To Know Before Submitting Online Application Form (ACS)
