Migration Skills Assessment Fees for 2020-2021

Migration Skills Assessment Fees for 2021-2022

Engineers Australia has five different types of Migration Skills Assessment Fees:

  • Competency Demonstration Report Assessment Fees
  • Australian Accredited Engineering Qualification Assessment Fees
  • International Accords Qualification Assessment Fees
  • Additional Assessment Services Fees
  • Administrative Fees

Engineers Australia offers its migration services with a promise of quality. The Department of Home Affairs trusts it, and it’s used by engineers all over the world. It’s also affiliated with renowned international accords and organizations.

Engineers Australia helps engineers wishing to move to Australia with a fair and accurate skills evaluation. It uses expertise to give impartial evaluations suitable to each candidate as the approved assessing authority for engineering occupations.

As their skill assessment is offered in two categories, we need to know the specifics regarding GST before we figure out their costs:

What is GST, and in which category do you choose?

GST stands for goods and services tax. The first is a charge that includes GST, and the second is a charge that does not contain GST. If you submit your application from within Australia, you must pay the full application cost, including GST.

Furthermore, unless you are a resident of Australia, you are responsible for paying the application fees, which do not include GST, if you intend to apply from outside Australia. Migration Skills Assessment Fees are different due to GST as well.

Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) assessment fees

You should pick a Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) if you require CDRs to evaluate your skill assessment, and you should be aware of the skill assessment price for engineers in Australia.

Standard Competency Demonstration Report: Competency Demonstration Report + Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment (+$360 Excl. GST), Competency Demonstration Report + Overseas Ph.D. Assessment (+$225 Excl. GST), and Competency Demonstration Report + Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment (+$360 Excl. Important Note

The following information about Migration Skills Assessment Fees comes from the Engineers Australia website, and the fees are applicable from 2020 to 2021.

Engineers Australia is the official organization in Australia for assessing engineering skills and abilities. It assesses immigrants’ migration abilities, whether they have certified or non-accredited degrees. It’s often the initial step on the road to permanent residency.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Read the Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) Booklet to learn about the requirements and checklist needed to apply for a skills assessment with Engineers Australia.
  2. Select the appropriate route.
  3. Gather all necessary papers in order to apply for the online skills assessment.
  4. Fill out an application.

Checklist for accredited qualifications

  • Photo from a recent passport
  • A valid passport
  • Certificate of your college degree
  • A copy of your academic transcript
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • IELTS, PTE Academic, and TOEFL iBT exam results
  • Any document relating to a name change

Color scans of the original papers are required for all documents.

Checklist for non-accredited qualifications

Migrants with a non-accredited credential must submit a Competency Demonstration Report (CDR). The candidate must demonstrate that they possess fundamental technical engineering knowledge and have used that expertise. A statement on continuous professional development (CPD), three career episodes, and a Summary Statement is included in the CDR.

The CPD demonstrates that you are updated with advances in your engineering profession. The CPD must be submitted in a table format, including the name of the course, the date, the duration, the location, and the name of the organizer.

The career episode’s main goal is to show off your engineering education and professional experience. Every episode focuses on a different time or element of your technical work. It may be something you did as part of your academic degree, a project you’re working on, or even a specific engineering problem you had to address.

Following that, you must analyze the Career Episode to the important competency elements for the specified engineering occupation. The analysis should be included in the Summary Statement.

  • Photo from a recent passport
  • A valid passport
  • Certificate of a college degree
  • A copy of your academic transcript
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • IELTS, PTE Academic, and TOEFL iBT exam results
  • Any document relating to a name change
  • A certificate of registration that is relevant
  • Employment documentation, such as a letter of recommendation and paycheck slips
  • CPD list
  • 3 Careers Episode
  • Summary Statement

Pathways

There are several paths available depending on your qualifications. The five paths are as follows:

  • Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) pathway
  • Washington Accord pathway
  • Australia Qualification pathway
  • Sydney Accord pathway
  • Dublin Accord pathway

In most cases, if your qualification isn’t accredited or comes from a nation that isn’t on the Accord list, you’ll have to apply through the CDR route.

Why choose professional Writers?

CDRReportWriters is an Australian-based company that is aware of Engineers Australia’s standards and keeps up with any changes. In order to prepare a good CDR report, you must choose a writer who has a deep understanding of the engineering field you wish to apply for, the intricacies associated with that occupation, and great English language abilities. We have engineers from many disciplines who can write a fantastic CDR for you.
